Ghostpatrol has been my favourite illustrator for years now. He's a self-taught artist from Melbourne, Australia who works across many mediums, including stencil and street art, ink drawing, commissioned murals, soft sculpture, posters, watercolour and printmaking. I also learnt about Gocco for the first time through his art.

His style is really something unique. It's that, plus the hand-drawn unpolished feel of it, together with the whimsical/folky/fantasy feel of his characters and scenes that make me love it.

Here's a cool video interview with him, showing more aspects of his work and process...

Check out more of his awesome stuff on his Flickr and his site.
(FYI - the title of this post is taken from the title of one of Ghostpatrols' Gocco prints.)
